The annual KOSAA KUP (Knowledge, Understanding and Passion) award was established in 2022 to honor the exemplary service of KOSAA members and to celebrate the critical roles they play in the advancement of public education in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Honorees are those who have made significant contributions to public education through service in their district. Given annually, the award is presented to an individual member who (1) exemplifies best practices, (2) passionately advocates for needs of her/his district, (3) demonstrates the highest ethical standards, (4) celebrates the values of public service and (5) actively engages in KOSAA events.
